I am not in a clan at all. don't want the pettiness of them anymore. i fly solo i just use a ts2 where a few friends i had made from clan's all go and play or chat. no clan no fee's no clan leader trying to tell you what to do. just plain simple fun when nowt is on TV

Sound good to me, clan life can at it's best be great fun. At it's worse more trouble than it's worth. Getting the balance right for everyone is a delicate balancing game.
Or... as we have it now in TSS, no leaders, no secrets, no ranks. Things take a lot longer to get things done. Partly because we have to all agree to any changes but mainly because as we are all working we have limited time. That and the fact that most of us have known each other for years.
The pace is definitely slower, but so far no one has spat the dummy, no arguments, no scheming, plots or back stabbing.
I little like an old peoples home on anti depressants...
